User does not receive SMS with an activation code/link



Activation of the Buypass Code app normally consists of three steps, one of which involves the user receiving an SMS with an activation code/link.

If the user is in a country outside of Norway, it might be that their mobile network operator doesn't support SMSs from Telenor.

  1. Check if the user can receive an SMS sent from your mobile phone.
    1. No - the user does not receive an SMS from you.
      1. You should ask the user to select a network operator that can receive SMSs from Telenor.

Some users have telephone types/operating systems that do not accept links in the SMS from Buypass - and the SMS goes into a SPAM filter.

  1. You have checked that the user can receive your SMSs (through Telenor), but the user does not receive SMSs from Buypass Code.
    1. Contact Buypass.
    2. Buypass will have to assist the user - and send the activation link via email.
