About Buypass Person Signing

The Person signing service is based on the Cloud Signature Consortium (CSC) model (see figure) and produces both Advanced (AES) and Qualified (QES) Electronic Signature. The Supplier acts as, and delivers, 2 of 4 roles in the CSC model: "Server Signing Application Service Supplier (SSASP) and Certificate Authority (CA)". The Supplier can also act as Identity Proofing Service Provider (IPSP) which is an optional feature.

Document management, authentication and formatting take place outside the Suppliers’ services. Either by the Customer, or in cooperation with one of our partners on signature services.

Secure authorization is achieved by the Customer requesting the end user to authenticate with an approved eID at an adequate level of authentication as specified by the Supplier. The level of authentication and the resulting authorization is handled by one or more pre-approved IPSP’s.
