This template is used for the issuance of Temporary Smartcards for Logon, that is the same template as for Smartcard Logon, but shorter validity. 

 

Setup Certificate Template - descriptionView

General:

  • Validity = 2 days
  • Renewal Period = 1 day
  • Published in Active Directory

You can see certificate issued under User Account Properties in AD

 

 

NOTE: The remaining settings are the same as Smart Card Logon  template
