In order to use Buypass WebLTS side-to-side security mechanism a Merchant Certificate must be installed on LRA Client PC.
A Merchant Certificate is issued by Buypass, and must be ordered before installing LRA client. Same Merchant Certificate can be used for one or more LRA clients within the organization.
The Merchant Certificate SerialNumber must be registered in the MASTER configuration file, the LraClient.Master.xml, using configuration wizard application.
- Start -> Run -> MMC
- File -> Add/Remove Snap-in
- Add Certificates to Snap-ins
- Select Computer Account, then hit Next
- Select Local Computer (the default), then click Finish and OK
- On the left panel from Console Root, navigate to Certificates (Local Computer) -> Personal -> Certificates
- Right click in the middle panel (Issue To and Issue By) -> All Tasks ->Import…
- Follow instructions in Certificate Import Wizard – click Next
- Chose Merchant Certificate file to import – click Next
- Password for certificate private key – click Next
- Choose Personal (default) for certificate store – click Next
- Completing Certificate Import Wizard – click Finish. You should get the message “The import was successful”
- Right click on your Merchant Certificate -> All Tasks -> Manage Private Keys
- Press Add button -> select both LRA_Operator and LRA_Admin groups in list
- Grant private key setting “Full Control” for both LRA_Operator and LRA_Admin groups – click OK
