Important information about revocation of TLS certificates

Please note that situations may arise where Buypass, as a certificate issuer, must revoke your certificate within a short time.

The deadline for revocation is defined in the regulations to which we are subject and will be 24 hours or 5 days after the situation occurred, depending on the severity of the situation.

Such a situation can arise because of changes in the regulations or security incidents. Examples of the latter could be compromised keys or algorithms.

In such cases, Buypass will contact you immediately and you must apply for a new certificate. It is important that you are able to receive and start using the certificate before revocation, to avoid disruption of services.
