Using the Event log
Log of user activity
The event log shows traffic from the user enters the one-time code at their organization until data flows between organization Radius client, Service Connector and the Buypass server.
Point in time (date and time) and activity type (see summary of Type) are used to determine the user’s situation. The search can be specified by time, date, user name, type and/or description if the log is long.
The user name is for the user who has carried out the identification.
Description retrieves details associated with Type and provides a description of the event and the user’s state.
Type
Type of action carried out on the Radius Server. The following categories are used
- Access_Granted - Identification successful
- Access_Denied - Identification failed
- Access_Error - Identification failed due to incorrect data from a server, error on Buypass, configuration error on Radius client or user not found in AD
- Access_Info - Not used
- External_Info – Not used
- External_Access_Granted - Identification successful on external Radius server
- External_Access_ Denied - Identification failed on external Radius server
- External_Error - Identification failed on external Radius server due to configuration error or no contact with external Radius server
- Access_Granted_Offline - Identification successful using offline generated OTP
- Access_Denied_Offline - Identification failed using offline generated OTP
